We provide a supportive and educational network for our doctors as well as generous salary and benefits. Our veterinarians have the ability to consult with 11 doctors, a board-certified internist, and a board-certified surgeon. We foster a work atmosphere where veterinarians have a VSS (veterinary support specialist) that they work with as their “personal assistant” to meet patient and client needs. Generous CE allowance ($2500 per year) where doctors are encouraged to learn new skills to help grow themselves and the hospital. Our weekly doctor meetings invite collaboration and a teamwork atmosphere. Veterinarian with a minimum of 3 years practice experience and either in management or wanting to be in management. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about veterinary medicine and is confident in their abilities and social interactions. Someone who really enjoys working with clients, keeping pets healthy, and healing them. Ideal candidate would possess great communication skills, be highly motivated to help pets and their people, enjoy working and advocating for doctors and staff, and practice sound medicine. Surgical skills desired: proficient with routine spay/neuter, dental surgery including extractions and flaps, mass removals. Additional surgical skills a plus include cystotomies, splenectomy, foreign body removal and exotic surgery. Surgical skills not required. Integrative and holistic approach is also valued. Interest in avian and exotics a plus but not required.
