Emergency Veterinarian ***EXPANDING AGAIN!!!***

If you are interested in ER work, but nervous, we have the doctors and staff to help make the transition! Our current doctors have at least 15 years of experience and are willing and interested in helping to train a new doctor or just a doctor new to Emergency Medicine. The transition to emergency work can be scary, but it is exciting and allows for a lot of time at home since there are longer shifts and blocks of time off each month. Expectation is 9 to 12 shifts per month. 

AEC Rockford is hiring a part time or full time veterinarian to add to the 7 full time and 3 part time veterinarians on our team. We are now open 24 hours and have been running with 2 doctors on most of the busy time so you won't be alone! We have been a full service night and weekend emergency hospital servicing northern Illinois for over 20 years. Expansion through COVID has been tough, but we have been more busy than ever.  We have the toys, tools and staff to allow you to practice high quality medicine and surgery with ability to make a great living and have time to enjoy life!

Benefits: Matching IRA, CE 2500/year, and health insurance reimbursement of $420/month and more! Expected commission pay of $160,000 to 180,000. We can do a guarantee if that is desired and signing bonus is negotiable!

Full IDEXX lab, digital radiology and ultrasound on premises. We have 3 incubators, 1 additional oxygen chamber and can hook up 3 nasal O2 cannulas at one time... And sometimes we do! We have an isolation Ward in a negative pressure room that can hold 6 pets including a large run. 

A brand new building is under development and will nearly triple our space!
