Care Veterinary Services- Millington, Mi Expanding fast, looking for dedicated, expansion-driven Associate Veterinarian About Our Practice: Care Veterinary Services is proud to be a part of a rural farming community that continues to have that small, home-town, good feel. Located only 15 miles from the entertaining and unique town of Frankenmuth, Mi. We provide veterinary medicine and valuable client education for both small animal and equine owners. We are a brand new clinic just established in April 2019, with a beautiful and welcoming facility with updated brand new equipment including but not limited: digital radiography (both in clinic and out in the field), full in-house blood analysis, surgical equipment, dental equipment (both equine and small animal), etc. Care was inspired when Dr. Amanda Hergenreder (Owner, DVM) realized that many clinics she had experienced and worked at were lacking severely in the element of showing clients/patients how much we truly care and want to be there for them in their time of need, no matter their income status. She realized the highest level of care can be provided for any budget by simply taking the time to educate both our staff and pet owners. We are currently a very busy practice that is eager to expand and add to our Care Team. As a new veterinary associate, you will be the centerpiece of an exciting new growing practice. You will have the unique opportunity to be part of developing this busy, rural clinic that is motivated to continue to grow and add additional facets of veterinary medicine to our practice. You will be a part of shaping a new field of veterinary medicine focused not only on treating the patient before you, but also in taking the time to educate your clients. This not only enhances the quality of life our pet patients but also strengthens the irreplaceable bond between pets and owners. With a strong caring, and trained team beside you, we are able to provide feasible, quality medicine for clients of all budgets. Your Mission as an Associate Veterinarian: You will be expected to learn from the owner/senior veterinarian, Dr. Amanda Hergenreder, the quality of medicine, care, and education that is to be required to provide the highest level of services at Care Veterinary Services. It is expected that you will pursue continued education (provided with stipend from Care) and bring this knowledge back to educate applicable staff and clients to improve the quality of care and medicine provided. It will be expected that you will want to participate in community events such as: Trick or Treat through the clinic, local festivals/parades, etc. We are open for other certificates/training that may applicable and contribute to the expansion of services provided at Care.
