| Hudson Animal Hospital is looking for a part time or full time veterinarian. Any experience level is welcome. If you became a vet because you love animals – especially dogs and cats, this is the place for you. We love taking care of our patients and that is our primary focus. We do the right thing to care for them, sometimes with a budget, and sometimes whatever they need. We aim to help the patient, not meet sales goals. Applicants should be kind, team players with a positive attitude and a sense of humor. We enjoy working together! Our hospital is in a small town and our goal is to have lasting relationships with both pets and clients. Any special interest you have will be strongly encouraged. Opened in 2012, our practice is family owned and rapidly growing. We are in a stand alone, building and have digital x-rays, dental x-rays, Abaxis blood and urine machines, a new ultrasound machine, therapeutic laser, all digital records, and current vaccination protocols. There is a nearby facility for after hours emergencies and referrals so no emergency coverage is required. Salary for full-time, experienced vets starts at $100,000 with a $5,000 moving stipend. Western North Carolina is a beautiful place to call home and a great place to raise a family. We are 40 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and ski slopes. Charlotte and Asheville are both about an hour away. The nearby lakes are great for fishing and skiing. Pisgah National Forest offers scenic vistas and a great place to hike!
