Do you love surgery? A unique opportunity is available with our non-profit organization, working on our spay/neuter clinic. We are looking for a special individual dedicated to reducing euthanasia in the Hudson Valley, New York area. The Animal Rights Alliance, Inc., (TARA), has been spaying and neutering cats in our mobile clinic since 2002. Additionally, we opened a stationary clinic in Middletown, New York that is dedicated to spaying and neutering dogs.

We are looking for a veterinarian to perform surgery one day per week, in our mobile clinic. This position could lead to additional days in the future. Individual must feel comfortable performing high-quality, high volume spays and neuters, must be able to work long days as needed.

Must be a DVM or equivalent, a skilled surgeon in high quality, high volume, spay/neuter surgeries and techniques, including pediatric, cryptorchid, pregnancies, with an emphasis on quality patient care. We are looking for someone with good teamwork abilities and a strong desire to make a difference for the welfare of animals. Euthanasia is the number one killer of healthy animals and preventable.
