Emergency Animal Hospital of Collin County, in Plano, TX is looking for a Hospital Manager to join our busy hospital!
Who are we?
EAHCC is a busy and thriving small animal emergency veterinary hospital in Plano that serves the surrounding communities when their regular veterinarians are closed. Our team is committed to educating our clients, staying up to speed with the latest veterinary advances and above all, caring for each patient and client that we see in our hospital. We are an after-hours emergency hospital that operates 6p-8a Monday-Friday and open 24 hours on weekends and holidays.
Who are you?
We are looking for an organized, results oriented team leader who can champion growth and expansion within our hospital. You will be an integral part of the team and be responsible for overseeing the operation of the business and practice in collaboration with the Medical Director. The Hospital Manager is responsible for driving revenue and managing costs while creating a hospital culture based on high quality patient care and exceptional customer service.
Ideal candidates should have a well-rounded management skill-set that includes leadership capabilities, operations experience, policy creation and implementation, quality control, an understanding of hospital finances and budgeting, and a strong desire to maintain the highest level of client service possible.
Team oriented and results focused with the ability to develop staff teams
Experience with operations including budget and labor management
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm in sometimes stressful situations
Problem solving and resolution management skills
Staff management including coaching, developing, and motivating team members
Computer literacy and ability to support practice computer systems
Willingness and desire to make EAHCC the emergency and critical care facility of choice in the area
Veterinary Practice Management experience preferred
