Career-minded, college graduate required (degree in business, management, hospital management, HR or related field), with veterinary hospital management experience a plus (CVPM certification preferred), but not mandatory for the right applicant. Exceptional client service skills, excellent leadership skills, strong financial background, demonstrated experienced in the field of Human Resources management, communication skills at all levels from ownership to support staff level, professionalism, and management experience are required. Ideal candidates need to be:
Self-motivated and have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
Strong time and project management skills
Excellent judgment and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain harmonious and effective professional and interpersonal relationship skills with a wide variety of individuals.
HR experience from determining need, selection, training, supervision, mentoring, discipline and termination
Strong desire to exceed expectations in all aspects of your career
This position plays an integral role in daily hospital operations and growth of this general medicine and surgical practice. Duties will include oversight of the scheduling and supervision of our professional staff, support team members, computer operations, HR, some financial oversight, facilities management, ongoing development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures, and ensuring the finest client service experience for our clients and their pets. Starting salary commensurate with experience, education and certification (includes comprehensive fringe benefits package).
