Malibu Coast Animal Hospital (MCAH) is a well-known multi-doctor practice that operates seven days per week. Our services include general medicine and surgery, orthopedic surgery, endoscopy, laparoscopy, ultrasound, dentistry, and dermatology. We also offer therapeutic laser treatments with a K-laser, acupuncture, boarding and bathing for our canine and feline patients.
The practice manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to HR recruitment and management, management of accounts receivables, participation in leadership team, support of our concierge-style service to ensure client satisfaction, marketing, and coordinating with the book-keeper to monitor general accounting.

High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree desired but not required
Minimum of five years previous veterinary experience; minimum of one year management experience
Certified Veterinary Practice Manager designation is desired but not required
Ability to manage daily business activities of a veterinary hospital
Ability to make management decisions
Leadership and supervisory skills to manage all support staff
Fluency in AVImark Veterinary software (preferred) and basic computer programs
Able to lift patients and carry equipment up to 40 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 40 pounds with assistance
Endure sitting, standing and walking on hard floor surfaces for extended periods
Type information for patient records and prescription labels into the computer
Able to work in noisy work conditions with sounds from animals and equipment
Take safety precautions for exposure to toxins, drugs, anesthesia and radiation
Able to handle both dogs and cats
Additional Salary Information: Commensurate with experience
