The successful applicant will be a graduate of an accredited veterinary technology program, and currently possess or be eligible to obtain a veterinary technician license in the state of Oregon. The position requires technical skills in patient assessment and critical-care nursing, placement of patient catheters, performing medical calculations and administering medication, anesthesia delivery and patient monitoring, laboratory sample collection and in-house analysis, digital radiology, computer based medical record entry and invoicing, and compassionate, competent client communication skills.In addition, an OVRA team member will value and invest in a workplace culture that promotes compassion, excellence, education, integrity and professionalism; for our community veterinarians, clients, patients and each other.
